Fri. August 1st – Tampa Bay Comic Con World Record Attempt!

On Friday, August 1st, the Tampa Bay Comic Con is going to have a Guinness World Record judge in attendance for an official Guinness World Record attempt for “the largest gathering of people dressed as comic book characters”.IMPORTANT RULE: The characters must have only first appeared in comics and not in cartoons, film, video games or any other commercially available format.The current record involved 1,530 participants and was achieved at the opening ceremony of the International Animation CCJOY LAND in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China, on April 29th, 2011.Get your cape and cowl, and let’s shatter that record!
